Alp Altiner also wanted to include a preview comic book introducing some of the characters and universe of " The Unknown " in the good old traditional style of comic book art, which was penciled, inked an colored. After Alp was done illustrating/penciling a combined number over 27 pages of the comic, he managed to hire some of the best comic book freelancers in today's Industry to do inking and coloring work. For the inking Sal Regla, Jonathan Sibal, and for the coloring Steve Firchow , Blond, and John Starr was hired to take the pencils to the next level for the production to be completed. A Limited to 1500 copies only, a valuable Collector's item Preview book was also self financed and self published by Alp Altiner, which already sold over 300 copies worldwide, including Comic Book Conventions, Web and other signings.

The Artbook/Graphic Novel Art of The Unknown, showcases the entire Comic Book as well as some fantastic Promotional pages from the story as well as some illustrations by popular Comic Book Artist Eric Basaldua, who joined the book as a guest artist and contributed some of his great illustrating skill for this exciting project.

On top of the Alp Altiner's gallery of the Visual Development work for " The Unknown " Alp decided to invite some of the best concept artists in the Industry for Film and Video Games, to contribute additional concept design including 2D and 3D development following his vision and art direction for this project. This book certainly will stand out from it's competitors with the amount of work and quality and is certainly a MUST HAVE in every artists collection.

The book includes a variety of designs, from characters, environments, creatures to technically challenging 3D creations. Some of the artists in this book have used, Maya, Softimage, Mudbox, ZBrush and many other popular 3D software packages showcasing the great work created for this book.

One of GOD OF WAR's concept artist Andy Park has also created some fantastic work for this book, that certainly is a MUST SEE where he illustrated various characters from " The Unknown " Page after page of conceptual sketches, designs, and concept paintings and the long synopsis of the story makes this book very unique, diving into the world of " The Unknown " .
